- It depends on the competition — there's no single universal rule. Common tiebreakers include goal difference, goals scored, and head-to-head results, applied in an order each league or federation sets for itself.
- What do P, GD and Pts mean?
- P is matches played, GD is goal difference (goals scored minus goals conceded), and Pts is total points. A team's full record (wins, draws, losses) is shown on its competition's full table, linked from each card here.
- What does the Form column show?
- On a competition's full table, Form shows a team's last five results as W (win), D (draw) or L (loss) badges, giving a quick read on momentum beyond the season-long points total.
- What do the colored rows on a full table mean?
- Each competition can shade rows to mark what's at stake for that position — commonly continental qualification, a promotion playoff spot, or relegation. The exact zones and their meaning are set by that competition, not standardized across sports.
